Online orders normally dispatch by courier within 3-5 business days from receipt of your order. Delivery times may be longer for more rural areas. The service costs $3.99 North Island or $5.99 South Island per delivery.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
Thank you for shopping at Books & Gifts Direct New Zealand.
Please choose carefully as we are unable to Exchange products and we do not accept Change Of Mind returns.
Unless your return request is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.
If you think you have a case for a genuine return request then please contact us first before sending your order back to us as if not it may get declined and returned to you.
To be approved for a return, please make sure that:
- The product was purchased in the last 30 days
- The product is in its original packaging (including shrink wrap and security seals)
- The product isn’t used or damaged (most be unopened, unwashed)
- Any accessories, manuals and gifts included
- You have the receipt or proof of purchase
Products that do not meet these criteria will not be considered for return.
Exclusions - these products can not be returned:
- Health and beauty products, including cosmetics and fragrances.
- Hosiery, underwear, swimwear and sleepwear.
- Bedding and accessories (e.g. pillows, mattress toppers/protectors etc.)
- Gift cards, vouchers and coupons.

Shipping charges
Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable.
You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the product during shipping, both to and from Books & Gifts Direct New Zealand.
Damaged items
If you received a damaged product, please notify us immediately for assistance.
Sale items
Sale items can be refunded.
