Delivery update: 
- NZ Post are currently seeing significant increases in the number of parcels being sent and this combined with the workforce restrictions and safety procedures at Alert Levels 2 and 4 is causing delivery delays.
- Please allow up to an additional 3 working days for delivery of your item at this time.
- If you have already sent an item to a business that is closed, unfortunately, NZ Post are not able to redirect this item for you. They will deliver your item as soon as restrictions ease.

Due to additional safety procedures in place for COVID-19, NZ Post are experiencing some delivery delays. After dispatch please allow an additional 1-2 working days for delivery.

Currently NZ Post are unable to deliver to Closed Business addresses, please only provide an active address for delivery at checkout. 
- If you have already ordered an item to a business that is now closed, unfortunately NZ Post are unable to redirect the item due to the large number of parcels they already have stored at their depots. When restrictions ease, they will begin processing these items in a phased, first-in, first-out basis, but customers should expect delays as they work through this backlog of items held for closed businesses.

Following the latest update from the Ministry of Health, as New Zealand re-enters Alert Level 4, Books & Gifts Direct will be following all protocols as per the guidance from the New Zealand Government.

Essential items are still available to purchase online 24/7 with contactless delivery.

Delays are likely on orders placed that are not deemed essential items or that are shipped from our suppliers warehouse. 
We will continue to update our customers as any new updates and details emerge.
Online and Head Office Customer Service will be available only by email.
